Adult Health History Form - Leaders must collect this form for each adult who will be accompanying the troop on a trip. This has the information needed to give medical providers necessary information should an emergency happen and the adult is not able to provide this information. This form should be updated yearly. Troop Monthly Report - Leaders are required to fill out a monthly report to let council know what their troops are doing. Council's Own Badges and Patches - Every council can create badges and patch programs that go beyond the ones offered nationally. Below is a link to the ones offered by Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia. Girls anywhere can earn these badges and patches. Summary of Awards Girls Can Earn Girl Scouts has many types of awards that girls can earn. Parents and girls should ask their troop leaders if they have questions. Patches - Girls can earn patches by doing activities with their troops, doing activities on their own, or doing activities with their families. It can be as simple as visiting an interesting place, or there can be requirements in order to earn the patch. Patches are available from councils, organizations, or venues.
Cookie and Fall Product Sales Rewards - These change slightly year to year, and may differ slightly between councils. Details are provided in the cookie and fall product training modules that leaders and the product manager for the troop must take. Girls and parents are provided with information when they receive their sales information. Mentoring - There are mentoring awards available to Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors. These awards allow girls an opportunity to learn how to lead and mentor other people by having them work with younger girls and their troop leaders to learn these skills. See requirements in the handbook for the girl's level.
Safety - Each level has a safety award that will focus on different sets of skills. Older girls will learn how to share safety information with younger girls. See requirements in the handbook for the girl's level.
National Leadership - Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors can earn awards for holding leadership positions at their school, place of worship or in their community. Girls at these levels can also earn awards by providing 20 hours of service to Girl Scouts and to their community. See requirements in the handbook for the girl's level.
Special Opportunity - There are awards for participating in cookie sales, learning more about Girl Scouting around the world, taking Global Action, and acting to foster International Friendships.

International Friendship Recognition Pin - See requirements in the handbook for the girl's level. Must be living overseas in order to earn this award.
Meritorious Service - These awards recognize girls who performed extraordinary, selfless acts in order to handle an emergency and even to save another person's life. See details in the handbook for the girl's level.
